Abstract
Visual Axis Opacification (VAO) is a common occurence after pediatric cataract surgeries. Here authors discuss the diagnosis and management of VAO, with use of latest available diagnostic modalities. Pediatric examination, as such, is very challenging and to detect VAO is even more challenging. Membranectomy in pediatric age group is the surgical intervention which is often required in such cases. This video also discusses technique of pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) .
