Abstract

Various surgical techniques of iol fixation in the event of posterior capsule rent , indequate posterior capsule support , aphakia or late dislocation are available. We describe a novel technique to refix the foldable iols using 6/0 prolene and show cases where we fix the foldable iol by creating flanges on the optic and haptic. This way the subluxated intraocular lens can be refixated without the need for removing and exchanging with a new intraocular lens
