Abstract
The prevalence of myopia has been increasing at an alarming rate. Around 50% of children or more may progress. A lot of myopia progression strategies apart from environmental modifications are coming up. The myopia control clinic requires a separate mindset and a specific practise pattern oriented towards myopia progression control.
The Instruction course is about how to start and practise myopia progression control. The intricacies of setting up, running and optimisation of the work flow. The various tests and equipment and protocols to be followed in assessing and followup of the myopic children would be discussed at length. The strategies to market and educate the parents of myopic children and converting the community based school screening also into active myopia control strategies would be evaluated and discussed in the course.
