FP0601 : Case series of medial canthal dystopia due to traumatic, blepharophimosis and iatrogenic causes.

Abstract

DESIGN
Prospective study.
METHOD
10 patients who presented to tertiary care centre in the last two years were studied. The procedure requires fixation of medial canthus into the natural position, deep into the periosteum using supraciliary and subciliary incisions and using residual skin to redrape over the defect.
RESULTS
8 out of 10 patients obtained acceptable results after single surgery.
2 patients required revision surgery. 1 patient required third surgery.
