FP0352 : Beware of masquerades in eyelid malignancy

Abstract

50 year old male referred in view of lower lid swelling since past few months. Patient had undergone right total parotidectomy for suspected parotid gland malignancy prior to the presentation. HPE showed invasive carcinoma of parotid. On clinical examination 2 x 1.5cm mass was noted at lateral one third aspect of right lower lid which was nodular, well defined, hard in consistency, mobile, painless,loss of eye lashes and feeder vessel. Patient was clinically diagnosed as right lower lid malignant mass. Patient underwent wide local excision of right lower lid mass with eyelid reconstruction with tenzel semicircular advancement flap.HPE showed moderately differentiated sebaceous carcinoma. On reviewing HPE slides of parotid lesion metastasis from eyelid sebaceous gland carcinoma was confirmed
