FP3074 : CONCURRENT CENTRAL SEROUS CHORIORETINOPATHY WITH PIGMENT DISPERSION SYNDROME

Abstract

Central serous chorioretinopathy is an idiopathic condition that leads to retinal pigment epithelium detachments and serous detachments of the neurosensory retina at the macula while in pigment dispersion syndrome the iris anatomy results in disruption of the iris pigment epithelium(IPE) and dispersion of iris pigment in the anterior segment of the eye. Both the RPE and IPE share common embryonic origin. We present a case of 38 yr old female who presented with complaint of diminution of vision in right eye. BCVA-OD:6/12 & OS:6/6. Anterior segment examination revealed krukenberg spindles OU and on fundus examination CSCR noted in right eye, left eye fundus unremarkable . IOP on GAT was:14 and 16. SD-OCT showed Neurosensory detachment with serous fluid collection in right eye. Patient was started on NSAIDS. On 3 week follow up- resolution of CSCR was noted with BCVA 6/9 in right eye.
