Abstract

Ongoing prospective, observational, study conducted in the Laxmi eye institute, for 6 months. Till date 80 patients > 18 years of age, with uncomplicated cataract who had bilateral cataract surgery & been implanted with DOF IOL (vivity, eyehance, magnificent) were recruited. History of any intraocular surgery/complicated surgery/intraoperative or post-operative complications/active ocular disease were excluded. Outcomes will be assessed at 1, 3 & 6 months, included refraction, binocular uncorrected visual acuities, defocus curve, contrast sensitivity (CS), PRISQ & patient satisfaction by VFQ 14 and dysphotopsia questionnaire. Vivity: mean UDVA was 0.16, UIVA is N6P & UNVA is N8. Mean BCNVA was N6 with add of +1.00 to +1.25D. CS- 1.66. Eyehance: mean UDVA was 0.16, UIVA is N8P & UNVA is N10. Mean BCNVA was N6 with add of +1.5 to +1.75D. CS- 1.65. Magnificent: mean UDVA was 0.16, UIVA is N6P & UNVA is N8. Mean BCNVA was N6 with add of +2.0 to +2.25D. CS- 1.65
