Abstract
Anterior uveitis in young patients presents unique challenges. It is more prevalent in females and often associated with systemic diseases like juvenile idiopathic arthritis. Timely diagnosis and evaluation are crucial to prevent complications and vision impairment.
Study Design: Descriptive study on anterior uveitis in a young patient.
Purpose: Examine characteristics, etiology, clinical presentation, and management.
Methods: Analysis of medical records, clinical data of young patients with anterior uveitis.
Results: Young patients showed distinct features, higher prevalence in females, associations with systemic diseases. Timely diagnosis crucial to prevent vision impairment. Topical corticosteroids, cycloplegic agents effective. Long-term follow-up necessary.
Conclusion: Understanding anterior uveitis in young patients enables early recognition, intervention. Improved outcomes through timely diagnosis, treatment, follow-up. Study provides insights for effective care.
