Abstract
Studydesign:Prospective, interventional, comparative.Purpose:To assess effectiveness&safety of Ab interno µhook trabeculotomy(LOT)&Gonioscopy assisted transluminal trabeculotomy(GATT)with phaco in Glaucoma pts.Methodology:114 eyes were divided into 2groups;G1:Phaco-LOT,G2:Phaco-GATT.Demographic,preop,postopIOP,surgical success, complications were compared. Results:Mean preop IOP inG1[26.45±5.2mmHg]reduced significantly at postop1,3&6m to12.43±3.6,11.29±2.9&10.98±3.2 mmHg&G2(19.25±6.59mmHg]significantly reduced to12.38±4.5,12.37±4.57&11.70±3.7mmHg respectively(p<0.001).At postop 6m,AGMs reduced inG1[0.58(0.9)to0.14(0.4)]&inG2[ 1.60(1.22)to0.41(0.92)](p<0.001).In both grps VA improved significantly.Complete success(IOP >6-≤21mmHg/20% reduction withoutAGM) was seen in98.2%of G1&97.6%inG2.Most common postop complication in both grps was Hyphema seen in3.5%G1&5.3% inG2 with 1 requiring AC wash in G2.Conclusion:Both LOT&GATT combined with phaco are safe&effective method for IOP reduction in OAG
