FP2193 : Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease recurred after 10 days of initial pulse steroid therapy .

Abstract

Study design and purpose -Our study is a case report which aims to report a case of VKH disease which was initially treated with pulse steroid therapy but later relapsed after just 10 days of therapy.
Methods –
Complete eye examination including visual acuity, IOP, anterior and posterior segment examination was done followed by OCT, ICGA and FFA
Results – Ten days after initial nitial pulse steroid therapy sub -tenon triamcinolone acetonide was given which led to prompt resolution of serous retinal detachment. No recurrence was observed for next six months.
Conclusion – Sub -tenon triamcinolone acetonide injection may be effective for VKH disease recurrence after initial steroid treatment.
