Abstract
A 58 years old female cam with complaints of sudden painless loss of vision in right eye. BCVA of right eye was PL. Anterior segment examination and IOP were normal. Early lens changes were present. On fundus examination of right eye, bullous near total retinal detachment extending temporally involving with single superior break at 12 'o' clock position within 1 clock hour. No PVR changes were seen. Prepared for OD Pneumatic retinopexy. Under aseptic precaution, 0.3ml of C3F8 was injected intravitreally. Post-operative topical Antibiotic only advised. Positioning of head was explained to the patient. On POD 1, inferior RD was noted which was found to be reducing on every visit. On POD 5, Cryoretinopexy was done to seal the hole. On POD 7, BCVA was 6/36 and OCT showed inferior shallow neurosensory detachment. IOP was normal in all visits. Patient is being followed up to monitor further improvement.
