Abstract
A middle aged male patient presented with complaints of defective vision in right eye since two months. vision in right eye was hand movements, left eye 6/9.anterior segment was normal. on fundus examination elevated hypopigmented mass noted in the superotemporal arcade involving the macula deep to the retinal vessels with exudative retinal detachment .presumptive diagnosis of subretinal abscess and empirically started with antituberculosis therapy followed by oral corticosteroids. patient evaluated with tuberculin sensitivity test which turned negative ,sputum AFB negative. CT CHEST showing a centrilobular nodules in left upper and middle lobe ,for which patient was subjected to fibreoptic bronchoscopic biopsy proved caseating granuloma. patient improved with right eye 4/60 and is under follow up.
