Abstract
Study Design: Multicentric retrospective study. Purpose: To evaluate efficacy and tolerability of rho kinase inhibitors in patients attending 3 tertiary eye care centres in North India. Methods: Evaluation of electronic medical records. Adult glaucoma patients, to whom ripasudil(R) or netarsudil(N) were prescribed were included. IOP was measured at 1 and 3 months after adding or switching R & N. Side effects were evaluated. Results: 102 eyes(102 patients) were evaluated. Mean IOP decreased significantly after 3 months for R(% IOP reduction- 25.06 ± 23.41 mmHg). N significantly decreased median IOP after 3 months(% IOP reduction- 19.77 ± 24.77 mmHg).There was no significant difference in IOP reduction between primary and secondary glaucoma and between POAG and PACG . Side effects seen in 14.7 % patients. Conclusions: Rho kinase inhibitors caused significant and similar IOP reduction in patients with primary and secondary glaucoma at 3 months. Both drugs were relatively well tolerated
