FP2123 : A rare case of Adenocystic carncinoma of left lacrimal gland

Abstract

A 65year old female,with gradually progressive diminution of vision and recurrent swelling near left eye,breathlessness since 1year.Diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of left lacrimal gland on excisional biopsy for swelling near left eye 3years ago and on chemotherapy.On examination-facial asymmetry,swelling of size5*4cm extending from superotemporal upper eyelid(OS) to inferotemporal part of lower lid,added breath sounds in right lower lobe.Visual acuityOD-6/60,OS-PLnegative.OS-Abaxial proptosis,finger insemination positive on lateral part,restricted EOM.Anterior segment-OD PSC,OS-SMC with illsustained pupil.Fundus(OD)-within normal limits(OS)-no glow.CTorbit-OP/C/O adenocystic carcinoma of left lacrimal gland with illdefined tissue in extraorbital component and recurrence.CTthorax-pleural metastasis in right lower lobe.CT guided trucut biopsy from pleural mass-metastatic adenocystic carcinoma.PETCT-hypermetabolic lesion in OS orbit and right pleura,involving inferolateral extraconal part
