Abstract
We present 3 cases of sub Hyaloid haemorrhage which were successfully managed by YAG Hyaloidotomy. All patients presented with acute loss of vision. In 2 patients the right eye was involved whereas in 1 the left was involved. Visual acuity was HM CF in affected eyes. Anterior segment Evaluation was within normal limits including applanation IOP. Fundus in all eyes revealed sub hyaloid haemorrhage covering the macular area. Peripheral retina was attached in all eyes. UWF Fundus photography was performed in all eyes. OCT was performed in all eyes. After due consent YAG Hyaloidotomy was performed in all eyes using standard parameters. Post treatment visual improvement occurred within an hour 2 to 4 lines , which improved over days. Post treatment IOP remained stable and retinal examination showed attached retina .
