Abstract

Purpose – To compare the visual outcome for distance , intermediate and Near vision .
Study design – Prospective case series .
Methods – Patients with corneal astigmatism <1D and without any ocular comorbidities were implanted with MAGNIFICANT Enhanced Monofocal IOL (care Group) and INFOCUS EDOF . At 1 day , 7 day and 30 day post op uncorrected visual acuity for distant ,intermittent and near distance was recorded and compared .
Results -The distance ,intermediate and near visual acuity was similar in both groups and there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups .
Conclusion – Enhanced Monofocal IOL was not inferior to EDOF IOL in achieving the desired Visual Outcomes .
