Abstract
A 25 year male K/c/o adenoma sebaceum for 10 years,came with c/o blurring of vision in both eyes for
15 days.spectacle usage for last 15 years.On General examination of face shows multiple small
sebaceous tubercles over malar area in a butterfly pattern.O/E: vision- BCVA-RE6/18p,LE-6/9p,BE-
normal Anteror segment.On fundus examination of both eyes shows blurring of disc margins with
superficial flame shaped hemorrhages seen around optic disc with peripheral dot & blot hemorrhage,
elevated lesions in the posterior pole,dilated tortuous vessels with paten lines temporal to optic disc
with macular star which suggestive of ocular hamartoma.Complete blood counts within normal
limit,MRI brain shows hyperdense mass lesion suggestive of subependymal giant cell astrocytoma.This
case presented for its rarity of bilateral ocular hamartoma.
