Abstract
A case report on glaucoma in a 7-year-old girl diagnosed with Sturge-Weber Syndrome (SWS) with uncorrected visual acuity of 6/60 in right eye and 6/12 in the left. Nevus flammeus was present on right side of the face since birth. Conjunctiva and the underlying sclera showed bluish discoloration in both the eyes. IOP measured with iCare was 29mmHg in right eye and 15mmHg in the left eye. Gonioscopy showed open angles in both the eyes. Fundoscopy showed cup disc ratio (CDR) of 0.8 with bipolar neuro-retinal rim (NRR) thinning in right eye and CDR of 0.6 in the left eye with intact NRR. Background retina was normal in both the eyes. CT brain showed typical Tram Track appearance with calcifications and volume loss along cortical and subcortical regions of right temporo-parieto-occipital lobes. The patient was diagnosed as secondary glaucoma in the right eye and started on dorzolamide eyedrops thrice a day. Right eye trabeculectomy under guarded visual prognosis was advised.
