STUDY DESIGN : Descriptive study
PURPOSE : Aim to evaluate the clinical profile of a patient of pituitary macroadenoma with acromegaly.

METHODS : A 40 yr female came to our OPD with presenting complaint of diminution of vision in left eye which was gradual ,progressive and painless in nature .
Detailed history and clinical examination of patient was done . Fundus examination, HFA and MRI brain was done . Blood workup including thyroid, growth hormone and prolactin levels.
RESULTS : HFA showed bitemporal hemianopia. MRI brain showed typical figure of 8 appearance . Prolactin and growth hormones levels were raised manifold. The investigations were conclusive of pituitary macroadenoma. The patient was transferred to neurosurgery department for further treatment.
CONCLUSION : This case highlights an unusual plurihormonal pituitary adenoma case with a rare combination of secreted hormones; mass effect symptoms were dominant, as were uncommon visual field defects
