Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To report an unusual case of painful blind eye with multiple staphylomas at VRport site,secondary to Glaucoma.Methods:43yr man came with C/O of LOV in RE since 1yr & multi painful swellings.H/o of RE trauma 1yr ago,diagnosed as TRD,underwent PPV+MP+FAE+SOI.SOR done 2wks later i/v/o increased pain and pressure.k/c/o DM&HTN.He had multiple hypopigmented patches on body.AR:(RE)Error(LE)-6.50/-1.75X160 BCVA(RE):HM(LE):CF3mts ph 6/12 O/E:ATN(RE)42(LE)30mmHg.GonioBE:Open angles.(RE)Kv:47.25DKH:49.75D (LE)KV48.50DKH50.25D.A/S:RE multiple staphylomas at VRport sites,conj congestion,corneal edema,RAPD.LE:blue sclera.Fundus:RE-no view,LE-TGOA.Pt was diagnosed as (BE)JPOAG & Keratoconus.Results:He was started on antiglaucoma medications,pressures were dec,for persistant pain he was reffered to retina dept.Physician referral sent to r/o autoimmune dis.Father had h/o glaucoma.Conclusion:This case came with RE pain but after exami it was seen that LE which had good vision had adv glaucoma
