Abstract
Purpose- The aim of study is to report the Preoperative and postoperative outcome in sensory strabismus
Introduction – Sensory strabismus requires careful consideration of examination, surgery, followup &patient expectations, Presenting a series of were surgically managed and retained within 10 PD of phoria. It is a retrospective study conducted on 10 patients. Clinical presentation- Patients presented with deviation of eyes, Patients had strabismus due to refractive error, nerve palsies, acquired cataract, >30-40PD deviation were operated , Postop Orthotropia had 5PD-10PD residual, Followup 3monthly Result -Patients underwent surgery had improvement in vision and 10 PD postoperative correction with ocular alignment. Conclusion-Sensory strabismus treated appropriately ensures cosmesis and binocular vision.
