Abstract

Purpose:
To describe the utility of the internal limiting membrane (ILM) flap technique in various vitreoretinal surgical procedures.

Methods:
This is a video compilation of various retinal surgical situations where an ILM flap helps in surgical success. The various techniques of performing ILM flap are also described.

Results:
All cases had good visual recovery and no post-operative complications.

Conclusions:
The ILM flap technique is a versatile procedure that has utilities in many vitreoretinal situations. It leads to better structural and functional surgical outcomes.
