Abstract

Phaco Cataract surgery is performed routinely under topical anaesthesia . We are now operating high volume of phaco surgeries in one sitting .In order to perform high volume work in a safe manner under topical anaesthesia we can modify few steps like implantation of IOl under irrigation , instead of using viscoelastic . This helps in reducing time of visco removal after implantation ,raised IOP due to incomplete removal of viscoelastic substance used during surgery . Risk of PCR while removing visco which is present behind the IOL . This technique also helps in Implantation of Toric IOL as which removal of visco , many times a lens looses its position of intended Implantation axis . We are shairing our experiences through this video .
