Abstract

Traditional methods for accessing and excising orbital tumors have long been linked to substantial morbidity and aesthetic challenges. This video abstract explores a range of techniques and principles of medial orbitotomies, with a particular focus on the Transcaruncular Orbitotomy Technique. We present the case of a 33-year-old male who presented with a painless, progressively enlarging mass near the medial canthus. The video showcases the successful execution of a Transcaruncular Orbitotomy, resulting in complete tumor excision without any visible scarring. By minimizing extensive dissection, this technique reduces the risk of complications, such as diplopia and ptosis, thus enhancing the patient's comfort and long-term quality of life.
