Abstract
Giant Retinal Tears are challenging to operate. The challenge increases further if giant retinal tear is inverted in case of pathlogical myopia. In this video giant retinal tear with inverted retina is operated, PVD induction done which has to be planned carefully. Silicon oil injection was done under air which is again a difficult task, Post-operatively after 1month retina was well settled with 6/18 vision. So the take home message is inverted GRT in pathological myopia can be operated successfully with PVD induction and PFCL- Silicon oil exchange is not mandatory.
