Abstract
A 38-year-old female with primary angle closure glaucoma post YAG-PI, moderate glaucomatous optic atrophy, intraocular pressure of 12mmHg on 5 topical and 1 systemic anti-glaucoma medication was planned for a gonioscopy assisted transluminal trabeculotomy with 5-0 polyester suture as a conjunctiva-sparing procedure prior to going ahead with more invasive procedures. Intra-ocular pressure at 6-months follow-up was 12 mmHg without any anti-glaucoma medications. GATT is an effective go-to procedure prior to invasive procedures especially in young patients.
