Abstract
Diagnostic modalities of the cornea have expanded exponentially in the last few years. In addition to the well-established role of corneal topography/tomography, anterior segment OCT and specular microscopy, newer modalities include swept source ASOCT, corneal epithelial thickness mapping, advanced imaging and quanti!cation of the tear !lm, corneal biomechanics measurements and ray tracing aberrometry. With an ever increasing number of corneal and lens based surgeries being performed worldwide, component keratoplasty replacing full thickness transplants, and advances in the management of keratoconus/other ecstatic diseases, each of these diagnostic modalities can play a speci!c role in enhancing patient outcomes. This course will aim to demonstrate the clinical applications of these diagnostic modalities in the 'real world' scenario through a case based approach with ample time being provided for audience interaction
