IC0264 : Strategies and pearls for phacoemulsification in difficult situations

Abstract

This instruction course is going to cover a plethora of cataract cases which are not routine in nature. Sometimes these cases become a budding Surgeon's nightmare. All surgeons are confronted with some difficult and challenging cases which might necessitate deviation from the usual path. In this video instruction course we shall deal with strategies to deal with hyper mature intumescent, rock hard cataracts. To understand the dynamics better in order to deal with post refractive surgery extreme axial length cataracts, subluxated cataracts uveitic cataracts and post keratoplasty cataracts. At the end of the course the attendee will have a clear cut reasoning behind the strategy to deal with a complicated case scenario in not so common Cataract presentations which one might encounter in their day to day practice.
