Abstract
Phacoemulsification is facing its biggest challenge ever, conquering the rock-hard brunescent nuclei in a safe and predictable manner.The grading system of cataract is probably unable to predict the hardness, thickness and leatheriness of these cataracts. Dividing these hardest brown nuclei safely in phacoemulsification is the final hurdle to cross. Chopping in a thick hard nucleus often fail to divide the nucleus completely. A definite algorithm of techniques are needed to conquer.This video based IC will highlight all types techniques and newer innovative technologies to conquer hardest nucleus .
