Abstract
Study Design: Randomised Control Trial
Purpose: To evaluate if ICG enhanced TTT achieves greater reduction in tumor height as compared to TTT alone in Retinoblastoma.
Methods: All Intraocular RB eyes that require chemoreduction prospectively evaluated for inclusion in the study after 2 cycles of chemotherapy. Individual retinal Tumors which fit the inclusion criteria randomised into goup1(TTT) and group 2 (ICG+TTT). End point of treatment Focal treatment will be continued for next 4 consecutive EUA, done every 3 weeks or Till tumor achieves height of <2mm.
Results: The combined use of ICG and TTT in thicker Retinoblastoma has shown statistically significant difference in reduction in tumor height as compared to TTT alone.
Conclusion: The use of ICG enhanced TTT in thicker Retinoblastoma has shown statistically significant difference in reduction in tumor height as compared to TTT alone after 4 treatments.
