Abstract
synopsis: Coat’s disease is an idiopathic telangiectatic neovascular disease of retina frequently affecting young males. It commonly presents with midperipheral telangiectatic vessels, retinal exudation and detachment. In our institution, we have encountered Coat’s disease in symptomatic patients who underwent thorough ophthalmological examination along with spectral domain optical coherence tomography scan before and after intervention. We present the functional and anatomic outcomes during their postoperative follow up period along with a brief description of the surgical method utilized to tackle such challenging retinal pathologies associated with Coat’s disease.
