STUDY DESIGN: Case Report
PURPOSE- Present a case of OS Pain, Redness, Raised IOP.
METHODS- Detailed History,Examination & Evaluation of patient was prospectively analyzed with recurrent complaints of OS pain and redness and watering & mild lid edema from past 3months. examination done on slit Lamp, IOP measurement, AS-0OCT. Preop vision OS FC6M,OD 6/9p with evidence of OS ciliary congestion with AC cells & flare, shalllow AC & edge of lens visible from 5mm non RTL pupil. IOP was OS 40 mmHg & OD 14mmHg. On Pentacam dimensions noted & diagnosis established. After control of inflammation, anti-glaucoma medications were started, IOP were normalized & was posted for OS cataract extraction in LA.
RESULTS- Post OS cataract extraction, patient was OS surgical aphakia which relieved the patient from her symptoms (in subsequent follow ups). She was then recently posted for OS secondary IOL implantation with anterior vitrectomy under LA with postop UCVA OU 6/9p & BCVA OU 6/6p with spectacles.
