Abstract
The aim of the study is to evaluate morphological patterns of Choroidal neovascular membrane(CNVM) using Optical Coherence Tomography-Angiography (OCT-A) and its correlation with Optical coherence tomography(OCT) findings. We assessed prospectively 50 eyes diagnosed with CNVM. The morphological pattern of neovascularization were categorized using en face images on the OCT-A ( Zeiss cirrus) system. Clinical activity was assessed by SD-OCT(Heidelberg).
A majority of patients exhibited the presence of Subretinal fluid, Intraretinal fluid , and Subretinal hyperreflective material on OCT.3 patterns identified in OCT-A (Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography) include the Ill-defined pattern (60%),Medussa head or well defined appearance(30%), and Filamentous network pattern(10%).Central macular thickness on OCT was higher in eyes with ill-defined pattern. The male : female ratio has been 20:30. These patients will be receiving appropriate Anti-VEGF and followed up with OCT-A.
