Abstract

A 49year old male presented to us with complaints of pain, redness, whitish opacity and DOV in RE since 2-3days.He had similar complaints in the past in RE since 1year.On examination, his vision was HMCF in RE and 6/6 in LE.RE showed dense vascularized corneal lesion with surrounding stromal haze delineated so well resembling like an eccentric placed DSEK lenticule. He had no history of any ocular surgery in the past. LE was normal. He was started on topical antibiotics, cycloplegics, virson eye ointment in RE and oral acyclovir800mg5times/day for 2weeks and followed up closely. At 2 days, size of stromal haze decreased with symptomatic relief. Gradually over 2 weeks ,his RE vision improved to 6/36P with stromal scarring .At 1month his BCVA was 6/12p with no signs of infection and dense leucomatous opacity in RE.
