Abstract

Study design: A 25-year-old male experienced floaters in his right eye for 2 months and previous similar episode 2 years back. He reported recent left eye pain with no other comorbidities. O/E : Anterior segment – no abnormalitiy detected, vision 6/6 in both eyes;On Fundus examination:the right eye had vein occlusion and an epiretinal membrane (ERM) while the left displayed vitritis, optic disc edema, and white-dot patches. Range of diagnostics perfomed and all are within normal limits.
Purpose: Early diagnosis of autoimmune bilateral posterior uveitis and appropriate treatment results in better outcome.

Results:Using visual field testing, OCT, and FFA, bilateral posterior uveitis was diagnosed with retinal vasculitis in the right eye and choroidal granuloma in the left eye

Conclusion: This case highlights the importance of diagnostic tools like fundoscopy, OCT, FFA and range of diagnostics in early diagnosis and initiation of treatment helps in better outcome.
