Abstract
· Study design: A single case report
· Purpose: To highlight the importance of combining multiple modalities of treatment for a large OSSN
· Methods: Single case of a unilateral large overhanging OSSN obscuring the pupil snd most of the cornea in an 87 years old female patient. MR Imaging done to exclude intraocular and orbital invasion as tumor too large for AS-OCT or UBM. Treatment initiated with topical Mitomycin-C for chemoreduction, followed by surgery and then plaque brachytherapy for the scleral invasion.
· Results: Eye salvage with restored vision and recurrence free eye after 18 months of follow up
· Conclusion: Multimodal therapy is useful for treating select cases of OSSN where topical chemotherapy or surgery alone or in combination are not enough for ensuring tumor free organ
