57.77 ± 13.5.18Pts (30%) had Grade 1 retinopathy,28Pts (46.7%) had Grade 2 retinopathy,9Pts (15%) had Grade 3 retinopathy and 5 (8.3%) had Grade 4 retinopathy. retinal complications were macular involvement (8.3%),optic disc involvement(8.3%),BRVO (1.67%), bullous RD (1.67%). Macular oedema, optic disc oedema, RD was seen in grade 4 HTN retinopathy. Cardiac changes were seen in 57% .There was significant association between HTN retinopathy and concurrent cardiac changes as evidenced by ECHO.Our study confirms the association between HTN retinopathy and cardiovascular disease.
