Abstract
Purpose- to report cases of DRS with novel associations.
Methods
Case 1- A 8 years old boy presented with dimness of vision.O/E BCVA was 6/12 in RE and 6/9 in LE. On alternate cover test a right hypertropia of 7 PD for distance and 12 for near with B/L abduction limitation,palpebral fissure narrowing with upshoot on adduction inBE.; diagnosed as B/L DRS.On fundoscopy there was inferior retino-choroidal coloboma with optic disc pit in RE; LE was normal.
Case 2- A 8 year old boy presented with outward deviation of LE. BCVA was 6/9 in both eyes.On APCT left exotropia of 12 PD with OS abduction limitation. O/E there was white forelock and hypopigmented patches over neck and lower limbs.Fundus was normal. Diagnosis left sided exotropic DRS with Waardenbug syndrome.
Results –These associations has not been reported before.
