Abstract

Retinopathy of Prematurity(ROP) infantile Haemangioma(IH) are vasoproliferative disorders with similar pathophysiology. We present a case of a preterm female infant born by NVD at GA of 27+6 weeks,1060gm weight, NICU admission & O2 administration. Baby had red spot over RE upper lid since birth of size 1.5X1mm which gradually increased. BE Fundus showed zone 3 stage I ROP. Orbit USG showed vascular malformation of right eyelid. ROP & IH are vasoproliferative disorders & lesions of ROP resembles capillary haemangioma on histopathology suggesting possible association between the two.
