FP2100 : A case of Purtscher like retinopathy

Abstract

A 37 yr old male was admitted in IMCU as a case of
Acute pancreatitis was given call over for blurring of
Vision for 4 days after admission.UCVA: RE 6/12, LE 6/12
BE anterior segment findings were normal.BE pupils reacting to light both direct and indirect reflex Fundus examination
Of both eyes showed intrarerinal hemorrhages , multiple cotton
Wool spots, polygonal areas of retinal whitening with clear
Demarcation suggested purtscher flecken. oct showed hyperreflectivity
Of inner retinal layers , loss of photoreceptors mainly ellipsoid zone FFA showed
Capillary non perfusion areas.. all these features suggested
Purtscher like retinopathy.
