FP1610 : A RARE CASE OF BENIGN CONCENTRIC ANNULAR MACULAR DYSTROPHY

Abstract

A 39 years old female came with complaints of progressive vision loss in both eyes for past 1 year. BCVA was 6/24 in right eye and 6/36 in left eye. Anterior segment examination and IOP were WNL. On fundus examination, pigmentary changes were seen in bull’s eye pattern in both eyes with involvement of fovea in left eye. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) of right eye showing foveal thinning, RPE atrophy, loss of outer nuclear layer, outer plexiform layer, external limiting membrane, and ellipsoid zone in the parafoveal area with collapse of inner retinal layers in the parafoveal area. The same finding were noted in left eye with foveal involvement. ERG was advised. No specific treatment was provided. Advised periodic follow-up.
