Abstract
OSSN is a common precancerous and cancerous epithelial lesions of conjunctiva and cornea. It is predominantly seen in early elderly patients.it is a spectrum of neoplasia ranging from simple dysplasia to invasive squamous cell carcinoma. Here we describe a case report : elderly patient who had come with complaints of pain and pricking sensation in LE since 6 months and complaint of mass in LE which is gradually increasing in size since 6 months, fleshy mass measures 16x14mmapporaximetly encroaching cornea of 4mm and peripheral corneal involvement present which is pigmented. No history of trauma and eye surgeries. punch biopsy shows – dysplasia. CT scan- nil significant, MRI- plaque like lesion in conjunctival in superior quadrant. Now treated with successfully interferon alpha 2beta perilesional injections and 5 fluorouracil 1 % eye drops with tapering.
