Abstract

Objective:The aim of this study is to measure foveal avascular zone (FAZ)area following trabeculectomy operation in POAG patients using Optical Coherence Tomography angiography (OCTA).
Materials and Methods: Changes in FAZ area following trabeculectomy operation was measured by OCTA(Heidelberg GmbH 69115) with fiji software in a 30 glaucoma patients after 1month and 3months of trabeculectomy operation.Pre and post operative intraocular pressure (IOP) was measured by Goldmann applanation tonometry(GAT) and FAZ area by OCTA were obtained.
Result:Study demonstrated statistically significant reduction of FAZ area following trabeculectomy operation on 3months follow up with lower IOP.
