Abstract

Study design:Prospective-interventional on going study.Methods :8 Eyes of 8 patients , Age range from 5 yrs to 48 yrs , with H/O total LSCD of varies etiology , mostly chemical injuries ,Pepoerative through clinical examinations of all eyes including BCVA, IOP and USG B scan done to rule out Glaucoma and sound post segments .All surgery done under LA except 3 under GA.Surgically removed the fibro-vascualr pannus ,AMT placed over whole corneal surface secure with Fibrin glue and one clock hour stem cell tissue was taken from other eyes with prior consent and divided into small pieces and placed on AMT sparing the visual axis and secured with Fibrin glue and BCL was placed on top on it with temporary tersorraphy done.Results: All patient showing significant improvement in Anatomical integrity and Functional outcome which is clinically observed and statistically proven here.conclusion -AutoSLET is safe and effective procedure to restore vision and anatomical integrity in unilateral LSCD
