Abstract

We present a challenging case of a 50-year-old woman with vitreous hemorrhage of uncertain etiology. Despite extensive investigations, including ESR, CRP levels, Mantoux test, HLA B27, IgG, IgM, and carotid doppler, the cause remained elusive. Surgical intervention revealed a macular hole and peripheral vein congestion. Postoperatively, vision improved significantly. This case underscores the diagnostic challenges of vitreous hemorrhage, necessitating surgical exploration when systemic causes are inconclusive.
