Abstract

54 y/o male presented with complaint of a swelling in the right lower lid region which was present since 6 years which was slowly progressive, not associated with any pain, no history of any preceding trauma. On examination, there was a large lid mass present in the lower lid 5mm away from the lid margin measuring 24x17mm which was soft, non tender, not adherent to underlying tissue. The overlying skin was unremarkable. Ultrasound showed a heterogenous mass with few anechoic shadows with mild vasculature on color doppler. Excision biopsy was done and HPE showed hemangioma. This is to highlight an uncommon presentation of lid hemangioma in an adult.
