Abstract

This is a case report of a young previously fully immunized doctor working in the intensive care unit who presented with decrease in vision in the right eye of 2 days duration. He was diagnosed to have unilateral mild anterior uveitis and neuroretinitis. He gave a history of fever with rash involving the face, shoulders and throat 3 months prior to the onset of the decrease vision. Blood investigations revealed a positive IgM and IgG for measles and Toxoplasma IgG positive. He was treated with topical and oral steroids, Doxycycline and Cotrimoxazole. He resolved with in 8 weeks with no residual defects.
