Abstract
STUDY DESIGN :A Prospective, cross-sectional study was done, PURPOSE:to compare 24-2C SITA Faster with 24-2 SITA Standard and 10-2 SITA Fast for identifying visual field defects, to see if 24-2C test can substitute the combined 24-2 and 10-2 test in evaluating glaucoma patients and suspects.METHODS:137 eyes of 82 patients were included All underwent all these tests-24-2C, 24-2 SITA Std and 10-2 SITA Fast on the HFA3 .Global visual field indices, pattern deviation, test duration and Identified peripheral & central field defects were compared between 24-2C and 24-2 , 24-2C with 10-2 .RESULTS showed a good agreement in global visual field indices and pattern deviation between 24-2C and 24-2 SITA Standard based on Intra-class Correlation coefficient.>0.9. CONCLUSION:Correlation for identifying visual field defects between 24-2C and the combined 24-2 and 10-2 is fair at Kappa value of 0.382. CONCLUSION 24-2C can be substituted a for 24-2Sita STD in glaucoma , not with the combined tests.
