Abstract
Aim of the study is to analysis different OCT biomarkers in posterior uveitis. This is a retrospective study of 60 posterior uveitis patients conducted in a tertiary eye hospital in South India from January 2020 to May 2023. Toxoplasma retinochoroiditis were evaluated ,which showed retinitis with no distinct border & blockage of outer retinal layers disproportionate to amount of retinitis was found as commonest etiological biomarker (93.3%). Hypereflective oval deposits adjascent to inner retina (89.28) and condensed vitreous emerging with retinitis lesion at some point (83.33%) were the others. Retinitis patch overlying choroidal granuloma with not much vitreous involvement was a biomarker for tuberculous(96.6 %). In DUSN , full thickness retinal involvement predominantly in outer retina & thinning in later stages with an intact ILM giving a subsidence sign is an etiological marker. Pre retinal oval round bodies were present in ARN (83.3%).
