STUDY DESIGN- 51y/f, presented with chief complaints of gradual, painless, progressive diminution of vision of right eye for 1yr k/c/o Diabetes. His R/E vision 4/60 and L/E 6/9, Near Vision R/E N36. R/E Fovea dull,
FUNDUS: R/Blunting or lack of the foveolar reflex, reduced retinal transparency (“retinal graying”) in the parafoveolar area,
OCT: may reveal disruption of the photoreceptor inner segment–outer segment border, hyporeflective cavities at the level of the inner or outer retina, and atrophy of the retina. Crystalline deposits are located in the inner retina at the level of the inner limiting membrane
FFA: shows telangiectatic capillaries predominantly temporal to the foveola in the early phase and a diffuse hyperfluorescence in the late phase RIGHT EYE MACULAR TELANGIECTASIA TYPE 2 MANAGEMENT: Intravitreal VEGF AFLIBERCEPT IMPROVED 6/36
CONCLUSION: i neurodegenerative disease affecting the central retina. ABNORMAL PERMEABILITY OF INNER AND OUTER RETINAL CAPILLARY PLEXUS
